This section showcases my skills in crafting engaging and effective eLearning experiences using industry-leading platforms such as Articulate Storyline and Rise. You'll find examples of my work where I have applied my design expertise to create interactive and visually appealing learning modules. My goal is to enhance learner engagement and comprehension through thoughtful design and innovative use of technology.
Designed to fill a gap in resources, my eLearning module addresses the unique challenges kids face during their parents' divorce. Inspired by insights from the Child Mind Institute's article 'Supporting Kids During a Divorce,' this module empowers teens to navigate emotional upheavals with resilience. With Gange's 9 Events of learning as a framework, it aims to provide a supportive space where teens can understand, express, and cope with their feelings during this challenging time.

This interactive lesson introduces students to the concept of mindfulness and its benefits through a relatable and age-appropriate approach. Utilizing Merrill's First Principles of Instruction, the module guides students through a simple and effective 3-minute timed meditation. This module is ideal for teachers seeking quick and effective ways to incorporate mindfulness into their daily schedules.

This module was designed using Articulate: Storyline for the course EME 612: Media for Instruction. The requirements for this project were to include accessibility features and master the process of working in Articulate Storyline. The accessibility features added include closed captions and audio. My personal strategy for this assignment was to deconstruct a template shared on eLearning Heroes by Sarah Hodge and build it again independently. The visual art was provided by the template with some original elements created in Canva. Content for this module was developed from Florida’s Early Learning Coalition online resources on conscious discipline.

This module was created to lead a virtual distance learning discussion for the course EME 610: Trends and Issues in Instructional Design. This discussion is on Chapter 30 of Reiser and Dempsey’s Trends and Issues in Instructional Design and Technology. This text is where the majority of the content for this module was drawn. The information for this module was synthesized using Articulate Rise.  The module was designed for instructional design students enrolled in the course, where they accessed the module through the course’s discussion board.
